Clinical Exercise & Group Sessions

Available in Osborne Park.

We offer semi-private and small group sessions designed to help rehab injuries, improve your strength, flexibility and balance in a supportive and social environment. These are great for when you have progressed from 1:1 Physiotherapy consultations or as a longer term exercise option if you prefer to stick with guidance from a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.

What can Clinical Exercise be helpful for?

  • Many injuries need long term, progressive exercises to get back to full strength.

Our group sessions or rehab memberships can help give you a structured plan to help you return to sport or life under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.

  • Over time our balance tends to decline unless we actively work to maintain or improve it.

Injuries and other health conditions (such as stroke or vestibular diseases) can also affect your balance.

Specific exercises that challenge your balance can help you to improve it over time.

  • In diseases like Osteopenia / Osteoporosis exercises that include grade impact activity (that are safe for your current level) are very important as bones need external forces to stimulate growth and regeneration.

Similar principles are used when helping injured athletes come back from stress reactions / stress fractures.

  • To get stronger and fitter you need to do resistance training and cardio/ endurance exercises.

Clinical exercise can be used to do this while paying particular attention to your current level so that you can improve without injuring yourself in the process.

We offer different levels of support depending on your condition, goals and confidence in group settings.

Group Exercise Classes

High Support

Semi - Private Exercise Rehab | 2 People

These sessions are capped at 2 people and are designed for those who no longer need 1:1 attention but still require more support and attention from your clinician than a larger group. Generally we will try to pair you with someone who has similar issues or goals, but we are able to individualise your session much more than our clinical groups (below).

These sessions can be requested and booked through your Physiotherapist once you have had an initial assessment.

Clinical Group Sessions | 3 - 6 People

Our small group sessions have between 3 - 6 people and are designed for people with similar issues or goals who require less support and attention than our semi-private sessions. We can still modify for injuries and individualise exercises within the session as required for your needs.

We have a a few regular group sessions each week which are explained in more detail below. You can also book these sessions online. The length of these sessions will generally depend on the group numbers but are between 45 - 60mins generally.

  • A class focusing on balance as well as strength.

Designed for people through the ages and can be used for specific conditions / injuries that balance has been affected.

  • Small group class focusing on building strength, power and impact exercise.

It incorporates weights and plyometrics to improve and support muscle mass and bone density and can also be used to improve performance for runners.

  • Small group session focusing on strength, power and mobility for older bodies.

Designed for bodies through the ages using weights and machines in the gym.

If you need to add more resistance based training to your routine, or you want to improve your ability to do things like getting up and down off the ground, step down off high steps or get out of the pool this is for you!

Exercise Rehabilitation Membership

Medium Support

An exercise rehab membership allows you to complete your personalised exercise rehab or return to sport program from our facility.

These sessions are more flexible as you can come in whenever you like with 24/7 access to complete your individualised exercise program, or you can choose to do your sessions at home or in your own gym.

Your Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist will provide weekly online check ins through your app to monitor how you are going, make adjustments or progressions to exercises and to keep you accountable.

This is a great way to increase your weekly exercise sessions at a lower cost than our group sessions.

We recommend this option once you are feeling confident in the gym and don’t need direct supervision to complete your program.

  • Exercise Rehab Programming is $55 per week and can be purchased as an ongoing subscription.

This includes complementary 24/7 access to our facility.

You will need to book an initial consultation to get started and after that reviews can be booked in as required depending on what you and your Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist decide you need.
