FAQs

  • You can see a Physio whenever you:

    - Have sustained an injury or are in musculoskeletal or neurological pain
    - Are experiencing pins and needles or numbness
    - Have sustained a work related injury
    - Have been involved in a motor vehicle accident
    - Need help to improve your strength, balance or mobility
    - Need help returning to exercise / sport after an injury or after having a baby

  • You do not need a referral to see us privately or to use private health.

You will need a referral from your GP if you would like to claim your appointment through:

    - Medicare (GPCCMP)
    - Worker’s Compensation
    - DVA

  • Yes, we accept 99% of private health funds (see below) and most can be claimed on the spot if you bring your card with you to your appointment.

We also accept some digital cards.

If you don’t have your card you can also pay for the appointment up front and claim your rebate back later with your receipt.

Private health can be used on most assessments and follow ups, as well as some of our group sessions if your private health offers this.

  • Yes we do. You will need to have a claim number for us to pass on the invoices to your insurer.

If you do not yet have your case number you can pay up front and claim back later.

For more information on this click here.

  • Physiotherapists can refer you for X-Rays, Ultrasounds and MRIs if we decide it is necessary.

However in some cases you may be able to claim back a higher medicare rebate if your GP refers you for the same scan (particularly for Some X-Rays and ultrasounds).

There are a few MRIs that GPs can refer for that are medicare rebated, however generally only specialists can refer you for bulk billed MRIs.

  • Please refer to our Services & Fees page for a full breakdown.

Note that our Physiotherapists charge different fees according to their experience.
