Injury Management & Performance for Runners

Despite what many might think, running is not something everyone inherently knows how to do well. Like everything else, it is a skill that can be refined and trained.

It is so common for running to feel heavy, slow and even painful, but often there are changes that can be made that will make you feel light as a feather on your feet.

  • Along with helping runners with their associated injuries, we also love to dig deeper into technique and strength work to help you help run faster, longer, lighter and springier!

Many of our clinicans have a background in running including track sprinters, ultra runners and Hyrox competitors!

We work with a range of athletes & running coaches in Perth and are able to collaborate with your coach on any injuries, technical or strength deficits you might have.

  • We have dedicated running clinicians who have done extra training in running specific injuries and performance and are often runners themselves.

We can advise and treat all running related injuries including but not limited to:

    • Shin Splints

    • Achilles tendinopathy

    • Runner’s Knee

    • General Hip & Knee Pain

    • Stress Reactions / Fractures

    • Plantar Fasciitis

    • Any other limb associated pain and injury.

These can be booked through our website, we recommend reading through our clinicians bios to see who may be most suited to you and your style of running.

  • We offer running specific strength & performance testing using ForcePlates and other technology to give you objective measures related to your strength and power.

Many of these metrics can be helpful in guiding you on where to focus your training, as well as give you baseline measures to aim for in case of injury.

We often work with athletes and their coaches on this and are able to advise your coach on where any deficits might be.

If you don’t currently have a running specific strength program we can also offer this in the form of:

    - Individualised program
    - Group runner’s strength program

We can also advise on running technique specific to sprinters, distance runners or anyone in between.
