Keoni McDaniel
Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
ASCA Level 1 (Strength & Conditioning)
Keoni holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Notre Dame and is an accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach.
With over six years of experience as a personal trainer, Keoni has worked across a wide range of populations, including CrossFit athletes, powerlifters, youth athletes, and older adults in group fitness settings. This diverse background has shaped his passion for helping people from all walks of life, whether the goal is returning to sport, improving strength, or simply moving better without pain.
Keoni has a strong interest in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. He takes a practical, evidence-based approach, with a focus on keeping people training wherever possible. His philosophy centres on integrating rehab into training, rather than pulling people away from the activities they enjoy. Clear communication and realistic planning are key components of his treatment style.
Having experienced a long history of injuries himself, Keoni understands firsthand the frustration that comes with pain and setbacks. This perspective drives his empathetic approach and commitment to helping clients navigate injury with confidence, while still progressing toward their goals.
As a novice competitive powerlifter, Keoni has a particular interest in strength sports and the unique demands they place on the body. Outside of the clinic and gym, you’ll find Keoni surfing, running, or searching for a good coffee.
